This has been a very unusual time for all of us, hasn’t it? No matter what country we are in, we are having to face the circumstances of this Covid-19 pandemic.
However, I see God’s grace and His hand in the midst of all this, gently working in our hearts. I see Him at work in our individualistic culture and in our families, as our outside schedules get less hectic, and as we start to spend more time together as a result.
On a personal note, I know good has come out of this for our family of 10 here in Jerusalem, and I pray good is coming out of this for your families as well!
What is God saying?
I believe this “plague” is a wake-up call to the bride of Messiah worldwide, young and old, to fast and pray according to II Chronicles 7:14:
“If my people who are called by My name [That’s me and that’s you] will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways [the wicked way in our generation and in our culture], then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Just as we remember the Israelites being delivered after Passover, we can press into prayer at this time and ask God for deliverance from this Covid-19 situation. Humility, repentance and obedience are key as we pray, just as this verse point out.
A Dor Haba (Next Generation) 24-Hour Prayer Chain and Fast
As a ministry, we are calling Hebrew and Arabic-speaking teenagers and young adults in the region to take part in a 24-hour prayer chain and fast led by youth over Zoom. It will begin and end with an hour of corporate prayer and worship.

This will be specifically for them as youth to repent on behalf of their land, people, and generation for wickedness that is present within it, and to ask for God’s mercy. The purpose is for them to cry out together in unity for the salvation of souls in Israel, West Bank and Gaza at this time. That Muslim and Jewish families in our communities would come to Yeshua!
If you would also like to fast and pray on that day, it will be the last day of Passover, from 17:00 on Tuesday the 14th to 17:00 on Wednesday the 15th, Israel time.
Meals and supplies for families in Bethlehem
Dor Haba is also asking prayer and for help to raise money for believing families in Bethlehem who have been in quarantine the longest. They are in need of meals and supplies.

One of the house of prayer leaders, who works with Dor Haba, lives in Bethlehem. He has a vehicle and government permission to distribute these supplies.
How are teenagers in our region doing at this time?
Here are four messages and calls to prayer from some Christian Arab teenagers from Bethlehem, as well as two Messianic teenagers from Jerusalem, telling you how they’re doing and how you can pray for them and their communities:
What about the kids and youth watches at Succat Hallel?
“The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.” – Leviticus 6:13
The house of prayer Dor haba is a part of, Succat Hallel, is still going 24/7 by God’s grace, and local kids and teens are excited to be a part of making this happen! Watches are being held in the prayer room by a few volunteers who live there, as well as from people’s homes, each one covering their 1-2 hours.
Last week, we held the youth watch with the teenagers, live on Zoom, with teenagers leading each hour of prayer and worship from 18:00 – 21:00.
Dor Haba – Serving young Arabs and Israelis online
As a ministry we are taking this time of quarantine as an opportunity to work on the online song library as well as a scripture search tool in Hebrew and Arabic for our website.
New song and video
The seclusion due to the virus has also given us the opportunity to focus on the editing and mixing for a new recording that is now in its final stages. We hope to release it within the next week or so!

As well as a music video. It’s for the song, “You are Worthy of it All”, by David Brymer, which we recorded in Hebrew and Arabic. We will send you the link for the song and video in the coming days! Pray that it will touch many hearts for the Kingdom in this region.
Thank you for reading. May God grant you grace, health, protection, peace, provision and strength in our wonderful Savior and Messiah Yeshua at this time.
In His love,
Tal
