i, it’s been an exciting month here in Jerusalem, as we gear up for our annual worship training camp, release new music, and continue to do God’s work in His land!
New Music Available June 20th
On June 20th we are releasing a beautiful new worship song in Hebrew, written by a teenager who is now serving in the IDF. This is the first of 12 new music releases, from local artists, that we have planned for the coming year. It’s called “Anchor in the Waves”, and it will be available on all popular music streaming platforms (iTunes, Spotify, etc.).
A Video Testimony About a Secular Israeli Woman
You’re welcome to hear this testimony I recorded for you. It’s about my friend whom many have been praying for since I shared about her and the dreams she had in an update a few months ago:
A Video Testimony About the Youth Watches at Succat Hallel
Answers to prayer!
The Dor Haba (“Next Generation”) worship training camp is happening in just a few weeks! There are about 120 youth registered, which is the maximum we can receive at the location we are renting. About 76 of them are Messianic Jewish Israelis and 44 Arab Christians, of which 30 come from the West Bank, and even two from Gaza(!). If you would like to sponsor a teenager so they can go, you can do so here.
What We are Sensing in Prayer:
Quite a lot of the West Bank youth who are coming are only nominal Christians, and do not personally know the Lord yet. And I know that several of the Israeli Messianic youth are backslidden or questioning their faith right now.
I really feel that this is a year for salvations and re-dedication of lives. Please pray for this with us. We will have a “prayer room” set up at the camp where youth can go to get prayer at any time.
In prayer, our team has felt that this year is also a year for inner healing and deliverance. For them personally and corporately, and for deliverance from hatred between their people-groups.
Jews and Arabs Collaborating in Kingdom Work From the Age of 13 and Up
The youth will be able to learn guitar, voice, drums, darbuka, bass, electric guitar, violin, and cello. Media students will learn video production, animation, art, choreography, and photography.
Worship teams will work on writing songs and recording them in the makeshift studio we set up at the camp. 46 of the students say they have already been writing songs or parts of songs… this is something that God is doing!
The purpose of the main sessions in the evenings is to draw them into the full story, plan and purposes of God. In their classes and workshops they will work on expressing that story through art, music, and media, and in their own languages.
Psalm 78:2-4: From One Generation to the Next
Many of the youth whose lives were changed and impacted by the first camps we did are coming this year as staff members, to help with logistics, or as small group leaders for those younger than them. This is something beautiful to see!
Pray that God will speak His word through them, and that He will bless the discipleship they do with the younger ones at the camp. We (and they) will tell His story, His plan, and His wonders to the next generations.
Thank you once again for reading, listening, watching, and partnering in prayer.
In His love,
