Interactive Media Classes
Each person may choose one media subject they want to learn in an afternoon class:
Art - pencil and digital
Sound Engineering and Recording
In the afternoons, you’ll have free time to swim in the pool (if the Covid 19 restrictions allow), play soccer, basketball, skate, or hang out in the conference’s coffeehouse within your group of 50. Pairs and Groups of students, including young staff, can book a time to write and record in the conference’s makeshift recording studio with one of the conference’s sound engineers.
You and others within your group of 50 can go with a designated conference counselor to play soccer, basketball, skateboarding, water games or swimming.
In your registration form, you can tell us what creative projects interest you the most. but ultimately, each group of 50 leaders and teenagers will need to decide together, which Projects they want to do. Then they’ll split into smaller groups accordingly. Art, Film, Dance, Music, Drama and Sound teachers will be there to help with the various projects.
Here are some Creative Project options:
-A band that will write a song together and record the song
-A band that will record a worship song “live”, audio and video, and make a live worship, music video,
-Production of a music video with a storyline to an already recorded worship song. (This project will require a student director, actors, videographers, and props/makeup/costumes coordinator.)
-Filming a “pilot” (example) for a television drama series that follows several Jewish and Arab Messianic teenagers and shows the persecution they experience at school and/or from their own people/neighborhoods.
-Dance team that will prepare several dances for performance on the boardwalk in Netanya on Saturday night (accompanied by teacher and conference counselors)
-Drama team that will prepare several skits for performance on the boardwalk in Netanya on Saturday night (accompanied by teacher and conference counselors)
-Band that will arrange several worship songs in a certain musical style (rock, jazz, mizrachi) for performance on the boardwalk in Netanya on Saturday night (accompanied by teacher and conference counselors)
-A stop-motion video animation about a testimony or a story that reflects our faith in Yeshua and the truth about God.
-A short, printed graphic novel that tells a story about the life of faith (a testimony story).
In order to do a certain project, you need to either have previous experience in it or it needs to be connected to the specific subjects you are signed up to learn at the conference (dance, drama, music or film...etc.)
“Beauty from Inside” ministry session for girls* (optional):
The person giving this workshop is a makeup artist. The girls will do each others makeup as she gives them tips and afterward, she will share from her own life a testimony of what God did in her life. Then there will be some discussion, ministry and prayer for each other.
“Walking in your Identity” ministry session for guys (optional):
This will be a time for the guys to meet, hear testimonies and discuss their identity in Messiah Yeshua and God’s calling on them as young men in this day and age. This will also lead into a time of discussion, ministry and prayer for each other.
