There will be no separate media and music tracks. Anyone can be in the music workshops as well as in the media workshops and classes. However for the creative project everyone has to choose one project and stick with it whether it’s in the area of music or media.
There will be a choice of classes: guitar, vocals, keyboards, bass guitar, electric guitar, percussion, drums, worship leading, prayer leading, photography, dance, art, drama and video production.
Musicians, worship leaders and media professionals from Israel and abroad will teach these classes. The musician or teacher will share their experience on that instrument or medium. They will give examples and practical tools on how you can bring your skills to the next level.
These classes will be held twice at the conference and you can choose a different class each time.
You’ll be able to perform the dances, songs and performances you prepared at the conference on the boardwalk in Netanya by the beach. Together you can shine the light of Yeshua and show God’s love to the people there. We might also film a clip of a worship song that will be later uploaded to YouTube.
This year we will allow more free time and in addition there will be more breaks between classes.
In your free time and under the supervision of a technician / someone on the staff, you will have the opportunity to register in advance and have a jam session with friends in a music room.
We will set up a cafe in the central area. There will be light refreshments during breaks and free time. Almost every evening there will be an open stage (open microphone) for anyone who wants to present a song or any other talent.
Only those who choose a creative project related to music * will be on a youth worship team/band.
Those in the worship band will be able to choose from the following projects:
* Leading prayer and worship at the final morning meeting at the camp, writing and recording a song, writing a song (not necessarily in the worship style but the words will still speak to the faith) and performing it on an open microphone and on the boardwalk in Netanya.
