A Holiday Update From Dor Haba | Newsletter December 2019
Hope this Holiday season finds you well! Can you believe we are soon going to be in 2020? Here is a summary of what’s been happening with Dor Haba (Next Generation) this past month, and some things that are coming up.
New Music Videos in the Works
This month we filmed music videos for four new Hebrew and Arabic worship songs we hope to be releasing soon. We filmed at Succat Hallel, the 24/7 house of prayer here in Jerusalem.
The worship leaders, singers, and musicians who came to be in the film shoot all said that it felt more like a really great worship time than a production or performance. After filming “Ahavati HaRishona” (My First Love), an original Hebrew song based on Psalm 84:10 (“Better is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere”), joy just broke out and everyone kept on singing and worshipping after the song ended.
The two secular videographers said they’d never seen anything like it. They said it was a very remarkable and unforgettable time, and that they would love to film for us again in the future. We were able to share our faith with them. Please pray God continues to draw their hearts!
We will share the music videos and songs as soon as they are edited and mastered. Please pray for the songs to be completed well and quickly! And that they will impact many for the Kingdom of God.
Teenagers Minister in Tel Aviv
Last week, we took a team of teenagers to the opening of a new house of prayer in Tel Aviv. They led two hours of worship and prayer at this night of dedication.
The prayer room is on the 18th floor, and had windows all around. We were able to look out and intercede for Tel Aviv, that God’s light would break through, and that many would come to salvation. We had a very special time there and were happy we could go support what God is doing there.

Kids’ Watches at the House of Prayer
The kids have been learning how to pray for people and nations from the scriptures. They are also learning how to sing spontaneously the things they are praying.
The important thing is that they’re getting a heart and vision for intercession and for God’s purposes in their own country, Israel, and for nations around the world.
Christmas/Hanukkah Worship Night for Jewish and Arab Believers
On December 26th, by God’s grace, Succat Hallel is hosting a Christmas and Hanukkah celebration for young people at the house of prayer. There will be worship in Hebrew and Arabic, fellowship, a message, and a time of prayer for each other.
There will be quite a lot of Arab believers from the West Bank joining, together with Israeli believing soldiers and students for this special night. Please pray that new friendships will be formed and that each person that comes would encounter Yeshua (Jesus) there!
New Years’ Youth Outreach in Jerusalem
For New Years’ we are inviting believing youth to come for a time of fun, fellowship, prayer, and worship, followed by outreach in downtown Jerusalem. God willing, we’ll do some worship on the street, share our faith with people, pray for them in the name of Yeshua if they allow, and do some “treasure hunting” – a good exercise in hearing the Lord and obeying what He’s telling you to do and who He’s telling you to talk to or pray for. Please pray for protection over us and the youth who will be doing outreach.
Thank you once again for your partnership and prayers. They are so appreciated!
Blessings on you and your families this Christmas and Hanukkah season.
